East Wintergarden in Canary Wharf, the new financial and business centre of London, was the site of the “official” function to celebrate Hoover’s 100th anniversary and the opening of a new Hoover century.
Aldo Fumagalli presented the achievements and outlined the future strategy of a leading brand. New, exciting, hi-positioned major appliances and floor-care products were unveiled by Aldo and Beppe Fumagalli with Nadine Dereza, a well known British journalist, as the host.
At night, centuries of history welcomed the guests for dinner at The Maritime Museum in Greenwich, the very same place in which, at the Meridian, the time begins.
The cocktail cruise on the Thames River upstream until Westminster and then downstream till Greenwich Pier was a pleasant introduction to a memorable night full of surprises and enchantment.
