| Safety and environmental protection at the workplace |
Candy Group fully respect the fundamental worker rights, paying careful attention to those stated by the International Labour Organisation.
Safety and health preservation at the workplace, as well as accident prevention and constant safety audits have always been a priority task in all manufacturing sites.
Health and safety of the workplace are assessed by a process starting from the identification of the risk factors and their evaluation according a predetermined priority list, to the definition and implementation of measures to prevent accident.
Other factors checked include microclimate, ergonomics of the workplace, elimination of architectural barriers, system and equipment safety, correct application of policies and rules.
